From Dainty Beginnings to a Stuffed Obsession

What began as Dainty Puddings — a sweet little dream built on comfort, culture, and custard — has evolved into something bolder, richer, and more indulgent: A Stuffed Affair.

We didn’t just pivot. We transformed.

After years of handcrafting our signature pudding jars and shipping them nationwide, we found ourselves at a crossroads when relocating to North Carolina. Under the state’s cottage food laws, certain refrigerated products, like our beloved pudding jars, weren’t allowed to be sold from home.

But where some would see a setback, we saw a sweet opportunity.

We shifted focus, leaned into what we could create, and crafted something magical — a luxury dessert brand rooted in indulgence, nostalgia, and flavor-forward creativity. A Stuffed Affair was born to celebrate all things filled, rich, and worth savoring — from oatmeal cream pies to layered dessert bars and beyond.

This isn’t the end of pudding jars — just a pause.

Our goal is to grow from home under cottage law, build a community of dessert lovers through The Stuffed Society, and raise the capital needed to return to refrigerated products in a full-scale commercial kitchen.
